What brings you the most joy? Being in nature, especially by the ocean. Traveling to new places.
Who or what influences your teaching style? I have been teaching Pilates since 2004 so my classes always have core strengthening. My first training was power vinyasa yoga since 2006 but then a training with Ana Forrest who teaches longer pose holds, so i like to play with both styles to combine more of a slower, "mindful vinyasa". Music also inspires me a lot.
How do you apply practice to your life? In the last few years I've been cultivating a daily meditation practice that's made a big difference in my life as far as managing stress. It's not always easy and I fall off the wagon sometimes, but I can always tell it makes my day and the way I interact with my loved ones way better.
